Paulo Menezes

Paulo Menezes holds an ITP from Harvard Law School, a postdoctoral degree in Legal and Business Sciences from the University of Coimbra, a Ph.D. in Constitutional Law from the University of São Paulo (USP), and a master’s degree in Constitutional Law from the University of São Paulo (USP). He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of São Paulo (USP).

Practice Areas

Coordinator of the firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions and Asset Management teams. Practices in Business Civil Law, Corporate Law, and Artificial Intelligence, with a focus on corporate restructuring and strategic planning. He has extensive experience in tax consulting and litigation, corporate governance in family-owned businesses across various sectors, succession planning, tax residency, and preventive litigation management.

• Deputy Secretary of the School of Leadership and Citizenship and member of the first Selection Committee of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
• Member of the Permanent Committee on Corporate Studies of the São Paulo Lawyers’ Institute.
• He was President and founder of the Special Committee on Capital Markets and Corporate Governance of the OAB/SP.
• He served as a full member of the First Chamber of the Third Taxpayers’ Council of the Ministry of Finance.
• He served as President of the Council for Business Renewal and Integration of the São Paulo State Trade Federation.
